You can also use slightly longer or shorter forks; just realize that your F-1 geometry will change as follows:

shorter fork = less stability at speed

longer fork = slower steering response

 

F-1 weight is 1980gr.(4.4Lb).

It relates to the complete frameset and shock, Medium size, Anodized finish.

+/- 15gr./0.5oz. for Large and Small sizes, add 60gr. for painted finish.

 

"X-link" Rear Suspension

The "X-link" system offers a very linear anti-bob response, suitable for riders that want a full suspended racer that feels like a rigid one while sprinting off the saddle, but with more climbing, braking, cornering and descending control.

With a hardtail's agility, quickness and weight the F-1 gives you the best weight/performance ratio ever dreamed for x-c racing.

Soft, medium, hard springs are suitable for bikers weighting 50-65 kg./115-145Lb.,62-78kg./135-175Lb.,75-90Kg./165-200Lb. respectively.
