You can also use slightly longer or shorter forks; just realize that your Rc1 geometry will change as follows:

shorter fork = less stability at speed

longer fork = slower steering response

 

Frame weight is 1250gr.(2.7Lb).

It relates to the complete frameset, Medium size, Anodized finish.

Size weight changes as follows:

x-small -40gr.; small -20gr.; large +20gr.; x-large +40gr.

Add 80gr. for painted finish.

X-small and X-large sizes reqires 20 days of production leadtime.

 

"A-Shock" Microabsorber System

 

A-Shock

Extralite fits Rc1 framesets with an original microabsorber system called "A-Shock", with a degree of vertical compliance with no unwanted lateral flex it provides the ultimate combination of ultra efficiency and racing comfort.

Seatstays are able to absorb vertical loads (ca 2mm).

A-Shock comes with 3 different wishbone choices to match rider's weight:

 

Soft 50-65kg. (110-145Lb.) riders (whidth 26mm)

Medium 62-80kg.(135-180Lb.) riders (whidth 30mm)

Hard 78-90kg. (175-200) riders (whidth 34mm)
